We’re Margo and Khéphren, two adventure-loving souls with a passion for surfing, traveling, and the simple joys of life. Our journey has taken us across the world, and now we’re excited to welcome you to Belastur, our dream guesthouse in beautiful Asturias.
Khéphren started surfing at the age of 13 in Brittany, France, and quickly became hooked. His love for the ocean and exploration led him to surf and work in incredible places across the globe. Meanwhile, Margo, originally from Oostduinkerke, Belgium, embraced the spirit of adventure during a one-year voluntary program in Peru, where she fell in love with traveling—and later, surfing.
Thanks to our nomadic surf lifestyle, we’ve had the privilege of discovering breathtaking places, meeting incredible people, and collecting unforgettable experiences. But it was during our last vanlife trip along the northern coast of Spain that we truly found a place that felt like home. Asturias stole our hearts with its wild coastline, lush green mountains, and welcoming atmosphere, and we knew we had to share it with others.
That’s how Belastur was born—a place where you can slow down, connect with nature, and embrace the magic of Asturias. We can’t wait to welcome you and share this special corner of the world with you!
Somos Margo y Khéphren, dos almas amantes de la aventura, apasionadas por el surf, los viajes y los placeres simples de la vida. Nuestra travesía nos ha llevado por todo el mundo, y ahora estamos encantados de darte la bienvenida a Belastur, nuestra casa de huéspedes soñada en la hermosa Asturias.
Khéphren comenzó a surfear a los 13 años en Bretaña, Francia, y rápidamente quedó enganchado.Su amor por el océano y la exploración lo llevó a surfear y trabajar en lugares increíbles alrededor del mundo.Margo, por su parte, originaria de Oostduinkerke, Bélgica, descubrió su espíritu aventurero durante un programa de voluntariado de un año en Perú, donde se enamoró de los viajes… y, más tarde, del surf.
Gracias a nuestro estilo de vida nómada centrado en el surf, hemos tenido el privilegio de descubrir lugares impresionantes, conocer personas increíbles y vivir experiencias inolvidables.
Pero fue durante nuestro último viaje en furgoneta por la costa norte de España cuando realmente encontramos un lugar que se sentía como hogar. Asturias nos robó el corazón con su costa salvaje, sus verdes montañas y su ambiente acogedor. Supimos de inmediato que teníamos que compartirlo con los demás.
Así nació Belastur —un lugar para desacelerar, conectar con la naturaleza y dejarte llevar por la magia de Asturias. ¡Estamos deseando darte la bienvenida y compartir contigo este rincón tan especial del mundo!
